At Yogability we believe that offering a conscious and mindful approach to disability support is what makes our programs unique and enjoyed by participants.

Our programs are known as Mindful Yoga Care as we have taken a mindful approach to how our disability support & care is provided.

Education to Empower

We are mindful that participants need to be empowered to take better care of themselves to be happier healthier members of society.

Through the MYCare program participants are educated on how to look after themselves, their body, mind and spirit.

2 to 4 hour Group MYCare education session available at various centres where participants have fun learning with friends.

Yogability Australia carers are happy to travel to offer the MYCare sessions in participants homes.

Our one to one 2 to 4 hour MYCare sessions are designed to improve the quality of life of the participant.

Participants enjoy a one hour adapted yoga class with half an hour of relaxation, meditation and breathing exercises.

Each session participants are guided through creating a delicious healthy smoothie each week.

Accessible NDIS Programs

Yoga and meditation has numerous health benefits for those with and without disabilities. At Yogability Australia we have designed our Mindful Yoga Care program so that it is accessible to ages 12 and up.

Particiants enjoy the group sessions interacting with their friends whilst doing Yoga. Learning life skills whilst participating in the community.

Empowering people with disabilities

Yogability believes that there needs to be more research done around the benefits that Yoga has for people with intellectual disabilities. Yogability Australia has worked with a variety of participants with various disabilities who have all benefited greatly from the MYCare program.

Some of the various disabilities that Yogability Australia has worked with include:
